i got my kitty when she was 6 months old, she was fully up to date with vaccinations and stuff at the time, and i took her to the vet for a checkup. now shes 1 and a half years old, i got a letter from the vet, like a reminder for an annual checkup and saying that she is possibly due for more vaccinations. i've heard a lot of different things about yearly vaccinations for pets, my other cat is 20 and never had them. i've heard that they only really need doing every 3 years and vets promote yearly checkups so they can make more money, i've heard that if vaccinations are done too regularly then they can cause cancer, etc. so i don't know what to think. should i get my cat vaccinated again? because she is so young and still needs them often when she is young? when she is older should i just get her vaccinated every 3 years? i'm happy to spend the money to get her vaccinated regularly, i've heard it isn't that expensive anyway, i am just wondering if the benefits outweigh the risks? and the other thing is, do cats need an annual checkup if they seem perfectly healthy? i know i certainly don't cart myself off to the doctor every year if i feel fine, but just thought i'd check. ______________________________________________________ Catering Equipment | Catering Supplies
