I have a 6 month old dachshund. She definitely lives up to the dachshund reputation for being stubborn. I'm trying to train her to walk by my side and not pull on the leash and it is NOT working. I've tried everything. She's so distracted when we go outside she won't listen to me when i call her name. She's not even interested in treats, not even cheese, her favorite thing in the world. I try not pull back on the leash when she pulls but it's so hard not to. I've tried the method where you stop walking and wait for the leash to go slack before continuing forward, to no avail. I've also tried the method where you sharply turn in the other direction when she pulls. This failed. I've been trying these for 2 months and it seems she hasn't learned a thing. Am i doing something wrong? I would love any tips! _______________________________________ Used Cars For Sale| Used Cars
