Hello,
My name is Lisa. I just joined, and figured id introduce my 2 boys.
We live in the Toronto area of Ontario Canada.
I love dogs, and am a dog groomer as well.
First my heart and soul.
Blaze is my 7.5 year old puppy mill dog, who is either 1 of 3 things.
1)a rough collie.
2) a sheltie.
3) a mix of the 2.
He is to large for a sheltie, and a tad to small for a collie lol.
he is my heart dog, my best buddy, everything I could want in a dog. We do agility for seniors at retirment homes with our agility group. We are not professionals by any means, but love to go out (as a group) and cheer up the folks stuck in these homes. Blaze loves it.
we also started to dabble in rally-o, we have done 1 trial, consisting of 2 rounds. He took first place each time. Looking forward to the trial we have planned in march, Hopefully he will earn his RN there. he LOVES to work, and loves to work with me. So this is a great sport for the 2 of us to work together. We have a ton of fun doing this. In the first round of our trial, I tripped over him doing the figure 8's, making him slip, and crash in to the pylones. I wasted a bunch of time standing and laughing as Blaze got all silly and started to play bow with me. It was funny. and just shows how serious we always are *roll eyes* . i was told on another dog forum i was mean for making him do this, he makes me do this he loves it.. I love rally-o alot more then agility,As Im not as quick as him for agility, he is just SO FAST, even at 7.5 years old he is as energetic as a 1 year old, and looks the part too. he is such a amazing dog, I could never say enough about him. he is what i would call a "bomb" proof type of dog, do anything with and take anyw here and he just adjusts.
he lived on the road with my boyfriend and I this summer for a month, as we did a camping trip across Canada (Ontario all the way to B.C.)
And then there is Soloman, I dont know where to start with him. he is young still lol. he is a beagle, that my boyfriend and I foster failed with. We got him as a near death 5 week old puppy. he was found abandoned by the local HS all alone. i worked with a girl at a grooming shop who also worked at the HS. So we got to talking about fostering. And in came soloman. He is now a happy healthy 5.5 month old crazy puppy. he is so not a type or breed I would have chose. But I think he chose us. After many hours up all night with him, helping him get better all the work we put in to him, he is a great guy. He is the comiedian of the family. he is funny allways up to no good (like a typical puppy.).
he is in the same agility club with his big brother Blaze. he is loving learning about the equipment. We obviously dont jump him or do anything like that. Just learning the basics. but he will tag along to our shows and just hang out and meet the retired folks. I hope to introduce him to rally-o in the summer time, when its warm to train outside lol.
And whats a long written out intro with out a whack load of photos lol.
Blaze with his ribbons.
Blaze and his girlfriend, Molly (one of my best friends chihuahua, she has 3! lol)
the 2 of us this summer, its a candid shot, but I like it. we were waiting our turn for a game to play at a dog festival.
on one of our many camping trips.
Solo the first night at his "foster" home lol You can tell he looks very sick and weak. no spark in those eyes.
this was his body condition.
How I found him SLEEPING one day lol. i told you he is a comidian lol.
Cute photo of him.
At the dirt bike pits,
flying ears lol.
Solo and merlin his best chi friend lol they are just a few weeks apart.
And a few of the 2 togeher. they are best buddies.
solo, 6ish weeks. blaze has always been so gentle with him.

And one of the real ruler of the home. marley, the 3 year old brown patch tabby. All dogs obey her. Or else lol. She is the total princess of the house, and the only girl. So she earns her title.
She spends much of her time, hiding and waiting for solo or Blaze to walk by, so she can jump out at them lol.
She is very small, this is 8 week old Solo laying beside her. every one thinks she is a kitten due to her size. maybe it was because her momma was a pregnant stray my friend found. No body wanted marley, every one said she was ugly. I think she is gorgeous!
*Sorry I know its a long, and very picture intro thread lol
