Can you breed the best dogs in the world, and still be a puppy peddler? In other words, say there is a kennel of any breed you choose that breeds the best dogs you can buy; but they produce litter after litter because they do it for a living. It is all about supply and demand. Does that make it right?

Good question.
I personally believe that above all breeders should be doing it to better the breed AND the dog population in general. This INCLUDES being involved in rescue. I include being involved as simply not pumping out litter after litter, but rather taking time and being aware that there are deffinatly way too many dogs out there in the world. Bringing life into the world is a huge responsibility and this factor NEEDS to be taken into consideration when deciding a breeding program.
So yes... they could be THE best dogs on the planet and I STILL wouldn't buy from them if they were pumping out litter after litter.

I would only want to have a pure bred from a qualified breeder, not one who has her poor female pregnant all the time.
