So my dogs are allowed on my furniture, when I allow them up. They have to ask first of course. But my dogs love to leave their back legs up on the couch and just hang over the edge with their front legs on the floor. I don't think they can decide if they want on or off. lol Does anyone else's dogs do that? I'll have to try and get a picture because it doesn't look comfortable to me.

Mine do the opposite. Technically they're not allowed on the couch (though I have caught them sneaking on there at night), so what they do is put there front end up (usually IN your lap) and their butt stays on the floor... TECHNCIALLY they're not on the couch so they kina get away with it I'd love to see pictures of that, it sounds halarious!

Same goes in our house, Kato too is not meant to be up on the couch, but occasianally he gets a quick cuddle invite, but bum always stays on the ground. Not that this really matters for a cuddle, cause he is so big, even with bum on the ground the front paws are still up above and beyond your head.

Awwwe, Akita cuddles sound great! My boys aren't the greatest for cuddles... Coal is really heavy and Linkin is really boney

I have never been sure about dogs on furniture, oddly they never really try... then again they are outside almost always.
