I use a Pet Cetera brand Dandruf Shampoo because Coal gets bad dandruff, especially when he's blowing his coat

I don't have a true preference, except that I try to buy the no tears formulas. I am always getting it in their eyes!

I don't have a true preference, except that I try to buy the no tears formulas. I am always getting it in their eyes! I don't really wash their faces. I was always too scared of getting it in eyes/ears. Even after learning how to properlly bathe a dog when I was at school I still don't wash faces lol I usually get them to tilt their head back and go as far up to the base of the ears as I feel comfortable, and after they're all rinsed I use a wet face cloth to wash their faces

Good idea, about the facecloth, but I don't care how careful I am, I seem to get stuff in the eyes, ergo, the no tears formula.

I only wash up to the base of the ears as well. Annie hates getting her face done and Ein wiggles toooooo much.

Ruddocks whitening shampoo and the ruddocks knowknots conditioner. After trying many, these ones seem to work best for Kato and they smell kinda pretty too.

Hey I'm a dog groomer, and at the place I did my "apprenticeship" at, we always just used palmolive dishsoap. And for the dogs that had sensitive skin or other skin issues we used sensitive skin palmolive. works like a hot-damn, it cuts grease and makes them squeaky clean. Now, however I like to use oatmeal based shampoos (just as my preference) because oatmeal is good for the skin and soothing to it. (Remember oatmeal baths with chickenpox?)

Yeah, I've heard a lot of good things about oatmeal shampoos.
I remember as a kid my mom always used dishsoap to wash our dog, but then I heard, not too long ago as a matter of fact, that it's actually bad... I think I read it in the last Dogs in Canada magazine come to think of it. Something about it affecting a dogs natural oils and such. *shrugs* I never seemed to notice any problems with it though.
