Nope, it's not a Yorkie. Close... it was bred from 2 Yorkies with that coloring, and they have a different name to separate them from Yorkies.

Huh... interesting. So it's basically a Yorkie, but in a different colour. You'd think they'd just make it as another colour of the Yorkie (like how labs are yellow, chocolate and black), but I guess the Yorkie people didn't want that or something Interesting though, you learn something new every day!! Okay, here's another small one

lol Yup, it's recognized by the CKC in the Terrier group... though I just checked and we haven't gotten to that one yet lol
There's two of them that look extremely similar 'cept the one breed (this one) has perked ears and the other breed has dropped ears.

YUP! ;D I remember when we were learning breeds in school, we had trouble remembering which was which out of the two... so we made up a way to remember: think Nor "Witch" - the pointed ears are like a witch's pointed hat
