I've always laughed any time someone's told me their dog is too stupid to learn obedience/tricks. I strongly believe there is no such thing as a stupid dog. I do think, just like people, some individual dogs, and maybe even some breeds, are more intelligent than others. But I don't believe any dog is "too stupid to train". I don't think any dog is untrainable actually, just some are much harder to train than others and require a lot of problem solving, patience, and the ability to research and think up new ways to train. I found most often people confuse a stuborn attitude with stupid. I also found that most often these stuborn dogs are actually out-smarting their owners The more intelligent a dog is doesn't necessarily mean the easier they will be. They may catch on quickly to training but they become bored easily and in most cases a bored dog = a destructive dog. I found this on Wiki... found it rather interesting... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Intelligence_of_Dogs#Brightest_DogsWhat are your thoughts on this issue?

Most often, it is the owner not the dog, that has issues. I found the link entertaining. I don't know that I believe it all that much!
